The Wonderful Joy of Chinese New Year celebration

This season as many Chinese will be celebrating Chinese Lunar Year of this year, some may thinks that this year is year of abundance with “Water Dragon” governing element to spring forth wealth, prosperity and joy in the beginning of this Chinese New Year.

It is not about giving out the “red packet” that spear forth the blessing and serenity of mind into this celebration thus giving us the assurance that whatsoever mean and confidence we had will be a smooth and good transitional into this wonderful year of business or achieving our ambitious manifestos with peace of mind into the end of year 2012.

But I relieved that to us as a Christian it is a reminder that we have had God’s joy and prosperity in us. The joy of the Lord is our strength. (Neh 8:10, Psa 21:1) It is an abundance package of blessing to us that have “believe” and surround our “faith” in Him. It is He and He alone that have covenant with our forefather and vested our authority through our Lord Jesus Christ himself. A petty offering of “red packet – with the word Chinese, “F-o-o-k”, prosperity dwell in the covering”. (Psa 35:9,27)

Yes indeed Jesus Christ prosper us through his “red package of blood” that sacrifices for us to attain this eternal blessing and salvation throughout eternity. (John 3:16)

Jesus Christ gives us the biggest “red packet” with us receiving it on the cross at Calvary. Thereafter we being through the adoption of the Holy Spirit is called, “children of God”. (Rom 8:15) Isn’t it wonderful to be able to have another Father in Heaven which full of majestic and awesome that practically owned the world in His mighty hand? I am so much joyous and happy that not only I can received a “red packet” by God on daily basis but as at when I asked of Him, which He will generously give it to me as a precious son and inheritance. (Matt 7:11) This promises that of such confidence that it is through our believing faith “all this things shall be added to us”. (Matt 6:33)

It is as promises:

Deu 8:18  But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.

Deu 29:9  Keep therefore the words of this covenant, and do them, that ye may prosper in all that ye do.

1Ki 2:3  And keep the charge of the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, to keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his judgments, and his testimonies, as it is written in the law of Moses, that thou mayest prosper in all that thou doest, and whithersoever thou turnest thyself:

2Ch 1:11-12  And God said to Solomon, Because this was in thine heart, and thou hast not asked riches, wealth, or honour, nor the life of thine enemies, neither yet hast asked long life; but hast asked wisdom and knowledge for thyself, that thou mayest judge my people, over whom I have made thee king: Wisdom and knowledge is granted unto thee; and I will give thee riches, and wealth, and honour, such as none of the kings have had that have been before thee, neither shall there any after thee have the like.

1Ch 22:11  Now, my son, the LORD be with thee; and prosper thou, and build the house of the LORD thy God, as he hath said of thee.

1Ch 22:13  Then shalt thou prosper, if thou takest heed to fulfil the statutes and judgments which the LORD charged Moses with concerning Israel: be strong, and of good courage; dread not, nor be dismayed.

And remember;

Pro 13:11  Wealth gotten by vanity shall be diminished: but he that gathereth by labour shall increase.

Ecc 5:19  Every man also to whom God hath given riches and wealth, and hath given him power to eat thereof, and to take his portion, and to rejoice in his labour; this is the gift of God.

1Co 10:24  Let no man seek his own, but every man another’s wealth.

And lastly but not the least;

Psa 1:1-6  Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away. Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

 We thank you for this wisdom and prosperity that you have given and acknowledged us in your heir-ship.

Stumble-or Spirit-filled-Leadership

This is concern with majority of the church leaders realizing that the issues of the church has been an mainstream of leadership based on number of good work for operating rather than the conviction of faith into God purpose.

“Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus. Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith. Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.” – Romans 3:25 – 28

Therefore the primary reason and foremost importance in the ministry of God is the spirit-filled leadership. Spirit-filled does not goes beyond the reason of simply doing the deeds and works of God captivating in the favor of men. It is an expression of overflowing spiritual mind in reason of agape love within oneself surfeit with the sustenance of God strength, mercy and spirit-filled authority to persist into good work hence in constant long run glorifying the Father in Heaven.

Doesn’t God have fore long anointed a Spirit-filled leaders and personalities to run His business? Doesn’t He has always chosen those who have a simple faith in Him to venture into the unseen deepest circumstances and miraculously come out in victory and surpluses all challenges that has been trials upon?

“But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light. Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is. And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;” – Ephesians 5:13 – 18

I have seen of late in this world rather than focusing into God’s Kingdom with the simplicity of trust in “Faith” and “Filled in the excess of the Spirit”. We began to focus on “reasoning and wisdom of men” at time justification and rationale to the Will of God to react on the purpose of God. Instead of setting free from the domination and clutches of the Pharaoh and Egyptian rhetoric we stumble and obstruct on others due to our in-competence leaderships of our elects.

We decide on leaders that fear “men authority” rather than the “spiritual mandate” in us. We fret on the thing of this world and persecution for His name sake and join into the norm and reject Jesus Christ teaching and commandment as foretold in the legacy of Peter’s faith denying Christ despite his clear conviction never to repudiate him in all situations. (Matt 26:75)

Are we hand-picked men of “spirit-filled” essence or those that “yes-filled” into our worldly itinerary?

We placed men that have been elect by possession of this world to the temple of leadership making further more Pharisee and trample the elect of God people to mere disrespect work and despise their right and authority to serve God. Hence glorifying the essence of this “flesh” in us but suppressing the spiritual right in us to coercion and misery. God forbids!

“God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;” – Act 17:24

 The church mean His “peculiar people” (2 Cor 6:16, Heb 8:10, 2 Pet 2:9-10) need to rise up — not on the contrary reference to brick and mortal building, but to rise up His “peculiar people” temple in spirit-filled to eternity. Through many century His “peculiar people” has been suppress in many occasion and without physical building of spiritual covering and worship . . . — Until to the fulfillment of God purpose through the resurrection of Christ and his ascension —- making this temple of God within our heart buildup. (1 Cor 3:16 – 17) Even as those days Jesus rebuked ((Matt 23:15 – 18) and proclaimed to the Pharisees, “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up” – John 2:19.

“I have given you My spirit so that your body could be My temple.” – 1 Corinthians 6:19

Only if we raise God’s temple in them it is natural that the assembly of men will multiple as the “Light of God” (1 Pet 2:9, Act 26:18) had been lightened to be placed and shined strategically on the hilltop for the world to see. (Matt 5:14 – 16) Obviously, we, the gathering of spirit-filled individual in unity to the purpose of God – a physical church was formed.

 By replicating the purpose found in that spirit-filled leadership, then more men will be drawn to His Kingdom, while the rest is of body functioning is about church management and biblical operations application in the context of Christ organization style.

It is only “Spirit-filled” Christ will be functioned as the Head of the Church will fall into it place (Matt 6:33) and purpose for His ministry.

 The question probe, “Are we spirit-filled in His ministry?”
